After breakfast, our car will pick-up from the hotel and transfer you to Hoian for an Eco Tour to Hoian.
The first destination in this Hoian day tour is Van Lang fishing village and Bay Mau nipa palm forest - about 7 hectares wide, surrounded by mangroves, canals, and houses covered with nipa palm leaves. Did you know this place was once a refuge for local people and soldiers during the Vietnam War? Today, this place is famous for providing the most seafood products in the area.
Here, you will be warmly welcomed at Mr. Han's house - a family of 3 generations, enjoying green tea and strolling throughout the village. Visitors will also get to try basketboat rowing under the guidance of skillful locals and discover traditional fishing techniques in their nipa palm forests. Are you excited about this special experience?
Return to Mr. Han's family to soak his feet with herbal medicines and practice traditional therapy before preparing lunch with the local family.
Lunch on this Hoian Eco Tour will have many local delicacies such as organic spring rolls, local pancakes, grilled fish in banana leaves, and other dishes. These are all dishes you must try when it comes to Hoian food.
After lunch, you are free to rest and continue your trip to Hoian Ancient Town. You can explore the small but beautiful town that tourists (even frequent visitors) find to be a quiet and peaceful place. The atmosphere here is a unique combination of cultural elements of Vietnam, China, and Japan. Yet, the most remarkable views of Hoian Ancient Town are from the ancient houses, which remind visitors of a distant past and offer a glimpse of a gentler and simpler time.
But it’s not all! Prepare to tick all you have in your Hoian to-do list such as Hoi An Museum, many of the town's famous old houses with impressive architecture, the Chinese-influenced Assembly Hall, and of course is the Japanese Covered Bridge that cannot be missed.
Besides, you can recognize Eastern and Western architecture through these ancient houses through the houses of Chinese and Japanese architectural styles.
Dinner at your expense. The rest of the night can be spent on Hoian food tours or any other itinerary.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
